Truly a different approach to a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago…. It felt VERY luxurious to have daily luggage transfers and nightly pre-booked lodgings in nice hotels/inns/guest houses. The additional bonus of having daily breakfasts and dinners scheduled was a nice touch. Jessica, our expert guide, was extremely talented in keeping us on the right paths and, also, in injecting humor into essentially everything. (Who could ever forget “Diego minuiti”?) And, essential to every step taken, was the presence of Beebe Bahrami as the history and culture resource. By sharing her in-depth and vast knowledge of the history, culture, and traditions along the Way, I came home with a more enhanced - and nuanced - understanding of the Camino.

This trip was full of spiritual, physical, cultural, and historical experiences. The guides and host provided fantastic leadership and direction to the group. We met many people and saw many fantastic locations that are off the beaten path. The food and accommodations were first rate. This was my first pilgrimage of this type and it won’t be my last.

I walked with a wonderful group of people; the accommodations were perfect; the restaurants, food, and wine superb; the support from Pilgrim Paths along the way was always available and makes me wonder if those people ever sleep! Highly recommend Pilgrim Paths.

Karen Calafat was our leader and she did an excellent job. The hotels ( and breakfasts) exceeded my expectations . I enjoyed meeting everyone on the pilgrimage and learned something from each one. Our trip was complicated somewhat by the rail strike and several in the group had to leave earlier than planned . I was the last to depart. Dealing with the bus system was “ challenging “ but any time I needed help a travel angel showed up. It was a good lesson for me to ask for help and some of my best memories will be those encounters. Highly recommend this experience.

Pilgrim Paths was fantastic in making our arrangements for us. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Meals were great. Paolo was a fantastic driver and helper! Rocky was spot on in her help and guidance! 100% recommend their services!
